Savorly began as a single-location cafe and chocolate shop in Toronto under a different name: Popbox Mrkt. We were famous for our collection—so much so that when we launched online, we quickly grew into the largest retail chocolate supplier in Canada. That early success opened new doors. Customers started asking for gifts: ways to share our products not just as delicacies, but for occasions.

When a holiday lockdown during COVID brought traditional celebrations to a halt, companies turned to us for help. They wanted gifts that could travel, connect, and still feel personal. We discovered something important then: not only did we love creating gifts at scale, we were good at it.

That experience reshaped the business. We pivoted from retail into helping some of Canada’s largest companies send thoughtful, design-forward gifts across North America. And through it all, we stayed true to our roots—working with Canadian makers. The talent has always been here, world-class and close to home. By keeping our sourcing local, we’ve been able to collaborate directly with vendors, treating them as partners rather than suppliers.
